Goat Farmer

A couple of weekends ago we made a visit to Poe about the same time all the nanny goats were having their babies. Braylon had to be right it the thick of things as much as we would let him.
I think this little guy may be the cutest goat Dad has ever had on the farm. He is a nice change from all the white with red heads that we are used to seeing from our boers. Of course his mama is red, but up until now she had never thrown a red kid....notice his two sisters have the true boer coloring. Funny Bray story: Tonight we were at the table having dinner. Braylon loves to pretend that we are an animal family all the time...usually we are bears, sometimes dogs. Well tonight Bray says, "Mom, you be the mama goat and I'll be the baby goat, and Dad can be the Daddy goat." I say "Ok". Then Bray leans in under my boob and starts sucking. Two things. 1) Braylon is very observant and of course took note of the nursing baby goats during his visit to the farm. 2) Braylon really gets into character with his imaginative play. I laughed till I cried!

Sugar-Rush Wrestling

Or romping as my mama has always called it...whatever you call it, my boys sure had a lot of fun after the brownies last week.

Happy Valentine's Day Daddy

Anyone who knows us, knows that Braylon's Daddy loves him some brownies. For three Valentine's Days in a row now, Braylon and I have made him some special heart-shaped brownies.
Much like his mama, Bray would rather lick the bowl than eat the actual brownies.
There is nothing better than a chocolaty smile!
The finished product...cute and yummy.

Just for Kicks!

This is what happens when your 3-year-old son insists on dressing himself.

Lydia's Steelers/Super Bowl Party

The day after Lydia's tea party, on her actual birthday, Lydia invited us back for more partying and to watch her Steelers in the Super Bowl.
More cake and ice cream...the party was saweeet!
Lydi and Bray sure know how to party! (Can you find them?)
Then they took a cuddle break. They are just too cute!

Princess Lydia's Royal Tea Party

Our friend Lydia and her mommy, Paula hosted the cutest little tea party to celebrate Lydia's 2nd Birthday a couple of weeks ago. Everything was so beautiful and we had so much fun!
The hostess...Princess Lydi

Prince Braylon

Lydia knows how to drink her some "tea"!

Prince Braylon mackin' with another of the beautiful princesses, Paige.

They always have so much fun together!
Can't believe you are 2 Lydia!

Grumpy Face

Braylon's teachers didn't mention anything, but I think Bray must not have napped today during quiet time at school. Sheesh! He sure was grumpy this evening.
Flashback to some of his other grumpy moments: The original. Funny, his mouth still looks exactly like that when he cries really hard.

Looking back, I'm not sure whether he was perturbed about all the posing I was making him do or the fact that this hair was going to be permanently captured in a photograph.

The evil-eye.

Most men would probably cry if they had to wear this get-up.

Whatchya lookin' at, Chump!

See, I told you his mouth still looks like that.

It was actually harder than I thought to find some pictures for this post. Luckily, I am blessed with a usually good-tempered, happy-go-lucky kid. But as you have seen, everyone has their bad days.
